I finally put up Miss Rose .. I've been undecided for several months on this one .. I've drawn and painted her a million times .. and I'm sure I will go back to this one again .. there's just something about the original one that I can't seem to let go of .. Miss Rose was originally painted on wood panel .. And of course I messed her up on the piece of wood sO I had to start all over .. This painting is a mixture of watercolor paper, watercolors and acrylic .. She's fun to watch when she is coming to life in many different shapes and sizes .. and frustrating at the same time .. But I finally decided to finish one version of Miss Rose and throw her up on Society6 ..

❝We do not creating for other artists. We create for other reasons. We love when other artists like our work, and it can be hard not falling into the trap of looking for these compliments...right? So you just go for a ling walk, deep breaths, and clear your mind. Then get back to what makes you happy.if art doesn't make you happy then throw it away...if it does make you happy then jump right in...❞ SYCAMORE again we dreamed, meeting behind, a veil of reality. purists by grace, latent by force, we aligned. with one step, from the waves, to your heart, through fog, and mist and wind and rain, landing with the finesse of a feather, falling on your pillow.. under the sycamore ~ photograph and poetry by c.n. o’mahony‘13 This was way cOOl, I had found this amazing sketch artist .. Her name, Vikki Douglas .. I actually lOved her stuff sO much that I wanted to do an art project with her .. I gots to share Vikki's response because I went to her as an artist .. I had no idea who she was, I just liked her artwork .. ❝did you know I own a rubber stamp company? I am following your stuff! I would love to have the opportunity to see if you are interested in possibly licensing your stuff with us for stamps sometime. thank you again! I'm an art lover and will continue to be a fan of your page! Thanks Vikki❞ And that is how this year's adventure begins .. What pieces would you like to see magically turned into Stamps? My first finished painting of 2014!
